Keith_Henson
I have a permit for next wednesday to camp at the lake and will climb it on thursday, weather permitting. Previous post indicated that crampons were needed in the early morning... Edited June 14, 2008 by Keith_Henson
Bishopp66
I'm going up tonight, hitting the Alpine start tomorrow, and will attempt Colchuck and Dragon Tail on Saturday. Planning Prussic on Sunday, with maybe a stop on Cannon if time permits on the way back. I'll let you know what we encounter... (keeping my fingers crossed for a 4-fer!) Sol
there's a bit of fresh snow up there, but nothing too much, and its starting to consolidate well.
spotly
Decided to slog up Fortune Peak today instead. Looking forward to your TR though.
Fairweather
Climbed Colchuck yesterday. Conditions are perfect. Trail to the lake is snow free and the glacier is not showing any bare ice.
EC_O
Yeah, snow was down to about 3500 feet and still a good amt of snow up high. Was up there this afternoon and there's a great boot pack in. Crampons are helpful though.
Bishopp66
We were using crampons in the mornings and post holeing in the afternoons. Insane weather thought...
