joshenj Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Just wondering if anyone has any beta on this route, planning on doing Stuart via Sherpa glacier, then wondering if its feasable to follow the ridge and hit up Sherpa peak, continue the ridge to Argonaut, and then again to Colchuck and coming down the colchuck glacier. Planning on it this coming weekend. Thanks for any info. Quote
kevino Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Wayne did it too. However they were done during summer months if I remember correctly - like July? Search for Stuart Traverse. Quote

wayne Posted May 27, 2008 Posted May 27, 2008 Shit walking through krumholz and uninspiring. One could stay on the crest but I didnt see much of a point there were ways up while doing some rock climbing but not very fun Quote
joshenj Posted May 27, 2008 Author Posted May 27, 2008 Thanks for the info, I think will give it a try anyways, climb it in a couple days instead of 1 though. Quote
wayne Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 I was hoping you would go anyways, I dont like to discourage. It is a long trudge though and it will take a while Quote
