BCross
Anyone been up to Stuart via Ingalls Creek road or Teanaway? What are the conditions? or is it a better bet to approach from the North? I am considering the Cascadian Couloir.
ivan
this pic of me shows the current depth of sinkage on the sun-blasted southern slopes (note: i'm 6'7") the north side is very icy all the way up the road to the colchuck lake split off, then rapidly just as deep - skiing the sherpa glacier right now would be dreeeeeaaaaammmmy
tvashtarkatena
You can only drive to 29 Pines Campground on the Teanaway, so it would be a LOOONGGG approach from that side. Ivan and I were just in the area. I would avoid such a route right now due to very high avi danger on sunlit slopes.
