TimC Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I've just found out that I'm going back to school - guess what that means? Yep, I need to clean out some of my gear. I just received these axes directly from BD about 3 weeks ago - they have been backordered all season. As such, I have yet to take them out and climb on them. As you can see, the tags are still attached and the axes are brand new. One axe is a hammer, and the other is an adze. These are the brand new version of the Cobra - I've used the old ones, and these are far superior.. the weight/balance is amazing - you hold them in your hands and want to do nothing but sink it deep into a beautiful wall of ice. I paid over $600 for these - I would love to get $450 plus shipping, but I am VERY open to offers, as I really need the money.
