WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Sacajawea Theory

Recommended Posts

It took me to a page with very little on it except a link to "buy links here".

I didn't buy any.

The Sacajawea Theory, in short, is that all newborn babies really need is boobs. Everything else is just marketing.

For males, this never really seems to change.

In the last 2.5 years I've had 2 hatchlings. I'm amazed at how much stuff we have acquired. My wife and I have tried to keep things to a minimum. From what I can tell, we have been more restrained than most but we still have a lot of junk.

When my girls were little, we would buy them a few things for Christmas but the rest of the family would pour things down upon us. There were times when the pile of presents would obscure the bottom branches of the tree.

The girls literally tired of opening presents.
