Friends and I had some good waterfall ice near Kamloops area 5 years ago, when I wasn't quite a climber. Now I no longer live in the area and would like to revisit ice climbing places near kamloops. any pointers ?

thanks in advance

wells gray is called "the waterfall park" for a reason. head north.

the only published info is a 1988 CAJ article.

other than that there's a 20m WI2 right in town somewhere

marble canyon is an hour west

ice between salmon arm and revelstoke is 2 hours east.

Marble Canyon is too crowded on weekends. Maybe the impression of Kamloops ice has become a fairy tale over time ... I should just climb the stanley park seawall when temp drops.
