I just got out of my level 1 in Jackson yesterday and learned soooooo much. I would definitely recomend it to anyone who hasn't taken it yet. I am inspired and humbled by what I learned. Stay safe out there folks!

A few friends an I are supposed to climb up on Rainier the 26 n 27 but with the amount of snow an avalanche conditions it's looking kind of iffy. Anybody hear any new updates on climbing conditions up to camp muir and/or beyond?

You would have to be an idiot to climb Rainier now given the amount of recent snowfall, and overall lack of consolidation.
