good locale for ice-climbing this sunday?

Just a newbie that wants to do easy ice-climbing this Sunday. I'm living in Vancouver, BC. Any suggestions or am I too early in the season for anything.

ya, i think you're too early. you might go take a look at thermometer gully up near the lions north face.

you could always have a walk up to Depencier too..not sure you will find much but you could always set up a TR and bash at whatever is there..or thermometer..

I'm sure that you could still find some seracs on baker to climb. the snow level was pretty high (above the icefall) until last week.
