waterproof zipper repair?

anybody know where I can get a waterproof zipper replaced? i cant find the info on a shop in the ham that i have heard exists, anybody know who i'm talking about? thanks

You can always mail it to Rainy Pass in Seattle - they have great customer service and a pretty good turnaround time.

Is it waterproof or water resistant? Replacing waterproof zippers is a godawful chore, and you might try your local industrial diving shop if its a big zipper. Your best bet though is the manufacturer of the product.

 

If it's just a water resistant zipper...rainy pass or any tailor could probably pull it out and replace it with a normal or a reverse bail slider zipper...

Crackers is right on. If it is a Waterproof zipper the best I have run into is through Kokatat. They are a manufacture of Kayak clothing and deal with these buggers often. A local paddling shop could hook you up.

Seattle Outdoor Fabrics has the "waterproof" zippers similar to what Arcteryx uses in stock. Most dry cleaners will do alterations/zipper repair.
