kevinoregon Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I just did Blown Out and Blown Out Direct yesterday. It seems to me that Blown Out Direct has a couple moves that are technically harder than any of the moves on Blown Out. I didn't come across any moves on Blown Out I thought were 10a. Opinions? Quote
pink Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 your a bad ass. is that what you were looking for? Quote
kevbone Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I think there are three 10.a moves on Blownout (the upper pitch) that are solid 10.a..... Quote
pink Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 put someone on blownout and tell them it's 5.9 and they will say it's hard for 5.9. tell them it's 5.10 and they will say it's 5.9. the route is called blownout because it was put up on a cold and windy winter day. i would say those moves are 5.10- and i have climbed that route probably over a 100 times. it's a great route. kevorg, you should go do bluebird from the first cave(spring fever) to the top of bluebird and you will experience what i think is solid 5.10a. bring lots of gear. Peter_Puget Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Speaking of Carver, can you still climb there? Quote
