Whats best way to take a high rez/high quality slideshow presentation from its current ".wmv" format and get it on to a common "dvd" disk playable by anyone with a dvd player?

I don't want to lose either sound or picture quality if thats possible.

Simplicity and quality are the priorities, followed by cost and timeliness.

I don't want to depend on or lug around a puter and digital projector etc.. just to play wmv files!

Any ideas? Programs? Suggestions? for a not-so-techie?

Thanx

D

Thanks FF,

I wonder what this conversion might do to the quality of picture and sound vs the original file format. I guess Ill just have to give one of these progs a go and find out.

I use the "Digital Media Converter" program for this kind of thing, which is available for around $40, and allows you to specify the format and the size/quality of the output file.

It's worked pretty well for me so far, with the only caveat being that huge files take a fair amount of time to convert.

When you export the video you can select varying quality and bitrates. I talso renders and burns straight to DVD. You should be able to keep all of the quality.
