Lovers Leap is one of those 'special' places. I hadn't see the video of Dan climbing there before.

How would one film an attempt like that, from a practical point of view? Many cameras strategically placed on the wall? Or did he do the speed ascent and then go back and film himself on the climb from multiple angles and in different spots on the wall?

 

Any folks out there with experience making climbing films such as this?

Seriously? This video, or a link to it, gets sent to me two or three times a year from various non-climbing friends and co-workers who want to know if it's for real and if Dan was nuts.
