hikerwa Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 I was wondering what kind of helmets that people have gotten for thier kids, for climbing. Most climbing helmets have been too big for my son, so I have been making him wear his bike helmet. I guess the reason I ask is I want him to get in the habit of wearing a helmet, even when the chance of rocks or falling is small. Is there a good kids climbing helmet? thanks, sean Quote
fishstick Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 The size 1 Petzl Elios fits quite small; it is however rather expensive. GB Quote

DPS Posted May 24, 2002 Posted May 24, 2002 I got my daughter an Edlerid helmet when she was around 8 years old. It is a hard shell hetmet similar to their adult models. It was cheap compared to parental guilt and hospital bills. Quote
