Rodchester Posted April 16, 2002 Posted April 16, 2002 New Tri Nuts From the company that brought us prison labor biners with high quality at a fair price...it appears that Omega has come out with a new design for nuts. Anyone seen or used these? Any input? Thoughts? [ 04-16-2002, 11:40 AM: Message edited by: Rodchester ] Quote
rayborbon Posted April 16, 2002 Posted April 16, 2002 Interesting. Never know until you use them I suppose. Which I have not. My first comment is- How much actual rock surface and metal will be touching in order to hold these in place in most situations? They look interesting for aid climbing and placing in weird cracks. hikerwa Posted April 16, 2002 Posted April 16, 2002 Yet still let's moisture through "micropores" in the fabric, while remaining "waterproof." Quote

I just had a great idea. CURVED HEXES - the best features of Nuts and Hexes all in one easy piece! Throw away your cams you will never place them again. ________________________________________ Wouldnt it be great if someone came up with permanently fixed, hammered in protection you could place in places there were no cracks?
