jared_j Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 I'd like to get some heavier - duty bar tacks stitched through the shoulder straps of my pack; there has been some slippage between the fabric on the outside (which holds the straps) and the internal padding. Any recommendations of how to go about this? I don't own a sewing machine, and I'm not really interested in learning. Quote
fenderfour Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Rainy Pass in the U district or REI. A cobbler will be able to stitch it up, but it might not be a bartack. Bartacks are over rated anyway. Quote
tanstaafl Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Try Northwest Garment Repair on Fremont Ave. Word has it they're cheaper than Rainy Pass, and they did a great job repairing my pack and tent. 206-545-8683 Quote
