Seattle - area tailor/seamstress to sew bar tacks?

I'd like to get some heavier - duty bar tacks stitched through the shoulder straps of my pack; there has been some slippage between the fabric on the outside (which holds the straps) and the internal padding.

 

Any recommendations of how to go about this? I don't own a sewing machine, and I'm not really interested in learning.

Rainy Pass in the U district or REI.

 

A cobbler will be able to stitch it up, but it might not be a bartack. Bartacks are over rated anyway.

Try Northwest Garment Repair on Fremont Ave. Word has it they're cheaper than Rainy Pass, and they did a great job repairing my pack and tent.
