Lambone Posted March 8, 2002 Posted March 8, 2002 Goin to the Valley next week... Hey all you crazy guys that aid out at Index in the winter! Can anyone recomend good cold weather aiding gloves? I have dry tool gloves, and neoprene boating gloves, is there anything better then that? Coments about how free climbing is better then aid climbing are not nesecary(that means you erik). Thanks! erik Posted March 8, 2002 Posted March 8, 2002 matt i prefer a goatskin leather glove with the fingers cut off, i size them up one so i can fit a lite poly pro liner undernerath them i havce a pair of ploy pros with and without fingers....this is a cheap setup and that is fairly flexiable..... hope that helps..... Bronco Posted March 8, 2002 Posted March 8, 2002 I've been using my vinyl love gloves for working outside this winter and they are actually pretty durable and more betta' dexterity than the drytool gloves and probably warmer also. but, they are hard to dry as others have pointed out. Quote
epb Posted March 10, 2002 Posted March 10, 2002 Just wear your dry tool gloves under a pair of your typical cut off leather palmed work gloves. I'll be using that setup on Cannon Cliff next week in NH. Good Luck in the valley! Quote
