Large Cams

I like my C4s but don't have anything larger than a #3. I'd like to pick up the #4 and #5 but before I do, any other suggestions? I've heard the C4s might not be the best choice in the larger sizes due to weight and stability. Brand loyalty aside, is there a better option?

I have a few forged friends in larger sizes, they work good for me. I prefer them to my friend's large BD's, and they're lighter.

Having used both WC flexible friends and BD C4's, I would definetly recommend the C4's over the metolius. the new generation of Bd's are lighter than the WC, the triggers are way easier to use, and the range is larger. the only pro to the WC is a wider base whichis supposed to help with stability, but i haven't noticed any difference. the wifey and i just finished out our wide rack: 4 #4's, 2 #5's, 2 #6's. word.

I really haven't used the large BDs (4+), but I really love my WC flex friend in the size comparable to BD 4 and would buy same again. It seems very light (for size) and stable, the action is smooth and the trigger is easy to use. Now that BD redesigned their cams (C4s) though I would take another look at those. I guess that doesn't really help much. Oh well. blah blah...
