roboboy Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 This is a cool site I found where you can listen to 60s-80s live concert recordings, makes great at-work cubicle listening. wolfgang's vault It is streaming audio, which does have annoying interruptions and I've had better luck on some concerts than others, but it is free. Downloads in better quality are to be available soon though there will be a charge for them. A lot of this stuff has been available but rarely in this quality, from the master tapes. Quote
Peter_Puget Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 (edited) Check out the '69 Crimson! Edited March 26, 2007 by Peter_Puget Quote
roboboy Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 Right! I'm listening to it and it's an amazing find. I had the official Epitaph box vol 1 and added vol 2 by mail order but these new tapes are far better quality and were unknown. Quote
roboboy Posted March 26, 2007 Author Posted March 26, 2007 I want to download Led Zeppelin 4/27/69 both sets, the best ever LZ I think. The 2nd set isn't on there yet. Quote
Dechristo Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 That is freakin' cool. Lots of fore-runners of famous groups in there - The Nice (Keith Emerson on keyboards). Funny to see King Crimson in small print compared to the other groups. ...and "The" Pink Floyd. less than $5 for the whole three-day show Quote

AlpineK Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Damn. I'd love to see the Who, Yes, and King Crimson in the same show. Then the next night the Nice. I've got records of all those groups. I haven't heard anyone else talk about them but the Nice are great! Quote
