Jarred_Jackman Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 I'm living in N. Bonneville, middle of the Gorge. I'm a teacher, so I'm looking for people with a similar schedule. Want to get to know some more folks so I'll have a list of partners to call when the long weekends and extended breaks come around (continuously.) Want to do some long multi-pitch rock this summer and some good ridge traversing (Stuarts.) Also, anybody who climbs and paddles? I'll be combining these trips all summer long! Who's out there? Quote
112 Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 You don't live in the middle of the Gorge, you are on the west end! There is a pretty big boulder near by, behind the trees. I am always looking for a climbing partner PM me if interested. -Ken Quote
Farrgo Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Do you know Dave Goldring? He also lives in N. Bonneville and climbs. Quote
JosephH Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 You live in paradise that close to Beacon. I and others have been getting out on it every time there's two dry east wind days in a row. Enjoy and I'm sure you'll be part of the tribe in no time this coming season... Quote
fheimerd Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 also a teacher and climber...do you bc ski/alpine climb? Beacon is a great place to climb single and multi=pitch routes Have you checked it out? What district and grade level do you work in? Quote
Jarred_Jackman Posted January 24, 2007 Author Posted January 24, 2007 I teach HS art at Mtn View in Vancouver. Yes I love Alpine, not big on cragging but do it to get in better rock shape. Hope to do a lot of new routes this summer as well and kayak a bunch! Quote
JosephH Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Come out over the weekend and you'll meet some of the crew... Quote
