Hilleberg Nallo 2

Looking at picking up a lightweight winter/spring tent with my Xmas cash. I've read a lot of reviews on this tent, and it looks great but haven't seen much from folks in the PNW. Anybody have any experience with it?

I used one several times this summer, and was very impressed. Tons of room and pretty good in shitty weather. Nice and light weight. I did not use it in wind too much so I dont know how it would hold up. It is definatly on the top 3 tents I am currently looking at.

What other tents are you looking at Alasdair? I'm looking at the nallo, the Integral Designs and the Eldorado. All expensive by comparison to the Nallo.

I have a Nallo 2 and I like it a lot I bought it to replace my Trango 2 as it was just too heavy. pitched on rock using boulders as pegs (so that I could not get it stretched out as tight as I would have liked) it was fine in about 40 km winds if a bit noisy. I just bought it this summer so I have not had it out in the snow yet but I think that it would be fine. I considered some of the single wall tents but just didn't want to take the gamble on the single wall thing. Very tempting though.

The quality is excellent and it is very light.

Looks pretty sturdy to me.
