See Mountain project link below.

Neptune Mountaineering in Boulder has pretty good beta.

RMNP stuff in Loch Vale and Glacier gorge will be in, with exceptions of necro (early season) and womb with a view (late season). Routes below Broadway (diamond) will likely not be in (early season).

Vail should be in but expect crowds.

All of this is a guess based on two seasons in the area.

RMNP can be a bit hit or miss conditions wise.

Vail will definately be in. Don't worry about crowds unless you plan on climbing the Wi3 next to Secret Probation, the Thang, the Fang, or Rigid Designator. I climbed at the Belfry and at the Club many times last season and never waited for anything. Weekdays are definately better then weekends.

Lincoln Falls will be in, and there is more than enough ice to go around.

Neptune Mountaineering vote #3. Call them, you'll see. The best gear shop in the US, go in and check out the "museum".

As mentioned, Boulder Canyon (shortest drive from Denver, besides Hwy 6 ice btw Golden and I-70), Lincoln Falls, Vail, RMNP of course. Boulder Canyon, Hwy 6 (Clear Creek) and Lincoln Falls are all 5 minute max approaches.

The mountain shopn in fort collins use to have some pretty helpful people if you are going to rmnp via hwy 34 there is a climbing shop on the south side just before you get to estes park which is the town you go through to get to the park and a decent guide book is "RMNP the climbers guide high peaks"

ps dont forget to acclimate
