Lambone Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 So the little plastic plug that goes in the shaft where the ice clipper thing hooks in, fell into the shaft... and now there is a little rattley plastic thing insde the tool. You hear it every swing, it's freaking annoying! what to do? send them back? Quote
David Trippett Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 maybe squeeze in a bit of runny glue through the hole where it will contact the plug and weld it in some nether area? Quote
Lambone Posted October 31, 2006 Author Posted October 31, 2006 yeah maybe...the plug sounds like it is all the way in the bottom down by the grip. it rolls to the top if I flip the tool over. Quote
G-spotter Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 you shouldve put duct tape over the plug. snd them back? "mommy! waaaah!" sack it up, bone. Quote
Farrgo Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The same thing happened with my quarks. Actually I taped them, just not enough, and it blew through. Don't worry though, after a few years I don't even notice the constant rattle... I have developed a twitch though. Quote
jmace Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Ya, the plug is like the first thing yuor supposed to tape up..well you might as well tapem up now so you dont get water in there. Quote
Lambone Posted October 31, 2006 Author Posted October 31, 2006 snd them back? "mommy! waaaah!" sack it up, bone. they are actually my Wife's tools, so I have to listen to the rattle and her whine about it, it's a double whammy Quote
