PBRstreetgang Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 I currently work 4 days a week from 7 am till 3 with the midweek off and have no truoble covering bills. A new job opened up 5 days a week hours 11 am till 7 M-F, I'll make alot more money but have less time off plus have to deal with weekend crowds. What to do? Quote
olyclimber Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 think about your quality of life. do you really need the extra money? i don't think it is a moral decision....more of a financial/opportunity cost situation. i were you I would quit all work and subsist purely off of dumpster diving. Quote
PBRstreetgang Posted April 28, 2006 Author Posted April 28, 2006 (edited) Thanks, I already went a few years with no work and subsisting up dumpster diving, wasn't bad however it was pretty much as much work as having a job. I do still hit up essentiam baking company and the juice dumpster + Seattle choclates is amazing Edited April 28, 2006 by PBRstreetgang Quote
luwayo Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 therein lies some irony. tougher to find peeps mid-wk (especially so during the poor weather seasons). more pickings on the weekend! shortly after i quit whining & globally advertising, i got reacquainted with the homegrown locals. what's that expression about the closest deals to home... Anyway, one beauty of this activity is what you can make of it. You can choose to be more remote, regardless of the weekend mob! these ramblings proly don't help you at all. but i hear you on the dillema. personally, i'd rather have more time than money. Quote
