techboy Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Looking to carry my Koflachs to base camp rather than wear them in. Can anyone recommend a boot bag that I can strap onto my existing pack? (Does this thing even exist?) Quote
counterfeitfake Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Seriously. Use the boot laces to tie them to the outsided of your pack. Quote
Ade Posted March 20, 2006 Posted March 20, 2006 Or you can strap them under the side compression straps toes down. Make sure that the laces are tied to something in either case so you can't loose a boot. Quote
dbconlin Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 I would seriously consider towing a sled across the glacier with all of your boots on it. This way your pack does not become too cluttered with boots hanging off here and there. Also, it has the advantage that you can use any standard skiers boot bag if you wish, with no special attachments for your pack. Quote
G-spotter Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 what about when you are hiking in in tennis shoes and not skiing in? would you consider towing your boots on a skateboard then? Quote
