111
I am searching for an inexpensive pair of crampons. I dont need them for crazy ice climbing or anything, just for basic mountaineering in the PNW. I have leather boots with a lip on the heel for the step in thingy but there isn't a lip in front like plastics. What ya got for me?
Squid
There's a good pair on sale at mgear.com -$98 for some decent crampons. The RSTP model would work with your set-up.
rock-ice
Those super 12 are great for all-around mountaineering. Obviously a lot heavier than some aluminums, though. I'd recommend stopping by second ascents, I got my pair (s-12s) there for less a few years ago(good shape). You can get some stubais here for $95. 111
I'm kinda on a student budget and was hoping someone might have some used ones they are looking to get rid of.

Couloir
I have some vintage REI crampons, steel, 12-pt. w/ front points, wire heal bail and neoprene straps. Other than being old, they're in great shape. I just use a different pair now. They fit a size 10-11 boot. I'm not sure WTF "Da Heezy" is but I'm in Portland and you can have them for $20 local or $25 shipped. PM me if you'd like them.
