Apparently most of the people who are looking for single boots or single crampons are people who stole the demo boot or demo crampon from a store. I lost a boot once and nearly got arrested on suspicion of theft while trying to buy a replacement single boot. It was only when I presented my beat up old boot that they admitted I might, actually, have lost one boot. Quote
