plexus Posted January 27, 2006 Share Posted January 27, 2006 Making the switch from downhill to AT setup. Here's my question, I'm 5'10, 165-170 range. What's the optimal length? Those are pretty skinny by today's standards and Tuas get tossed around in the cascade crud here pretty good so a little extra length might do you some good. plexus Posted February 3, 2006 Author Share Posted February 3, 2006 Thanks for the help guys. Got the Tuas with Silvretta 404s. They'll do for the remainder of this season but I see myself upgrading bindings next year. Got The 404s because I wanted them to be compatable with my mountaineering boots. However... Decided against breaking my ankle and picked up a pair of Lowa Structuras. They seem a little clunkier than what I was expecting but it seems the trend with tele and randonee gear is to mimic downhill more and more.
