Blake Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 SoI just heard about googletalk, and I'm interested in trying it out. Sounds like a pretty good deal, no long distance $$$, works anywhere in the world. Anyone use it? I don't have a headset/microphone for my computer though, and was wondering if anyone has any recomendations or words of advise. thanks all. -Blake Quote
Distel32 Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 yeah I've used it from here to the US and to china. works great. you don't need anything special, just go get a cheap headset with a mic. I bought one here for like $4 and it works fine. get something cheap and use it. Quote
olyclimber Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 blake you just need something that interfaces with your audio on your computer, either through the audio input/output jacks on your computer, or via USB. Logitech makes a pretty cheap one (thats what I use for that), and there are plenty of others. Quote

JoshK Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Yup, just those regular headphone jacks. One should be for input (microphone) and the rest for output. Quote
