Ade Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Marmot Mountain Works' Telemark and Randonee ski demo day on Wednesday January 4th 2006 has been approved by The Summit at Snoqualmie. The demo will be held at Summit West from 4pm until 9pm. This will most likely be the only event of this kind in our region this season. Many of the manufacturer's representatives will be in attendance with their fleets of demo gear for you to try out.... including K2, Atomic, Black Diamond, Scarpa, G3, and Garmont. Marmot Mountain Works will also make available the majority of their store's demo gear. Bring your own telemark, randonee, or alpine downhill ski boots and poles if you have them in order to maximize your options and enjoyment. The use of the demo gear will be free of charge, but you will be required to purchase your own lift ticket. This demo is open to adult skiers, no kid's size equipment will be available.
MarmotMountain Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Hi John - Since this Black Diamond binding is a product that is being worked on for possible release next Fall/Winter '06 season, it will not be presented at this demo. However, the current Black Diamond bindings should be represented.
Jim Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 It was great to try out some new gear. Special thanks to the BD and Marmot folks that were very helpful. My 6 year old skis now look lame-o compared to what I was on last night. And there was some 8 inches of pow to be found on the ungroomed.
