according to the guidebook, the access issues are "do not climb michelmoon"

 

you may remember the "ice climbers stole our dog" post on westcoastice from a few years ago?

the woman who owns the property is quite friendly and very pleasant to talk to, but there have been a number of traumas in her life (the details of which are not important to this discussion), and since she (quite reasonably and correctly) views ice climbing as dangerous, she doesn't want the possibility of an accident in her back-yard. as the guidebook says, "please respect their wishes and climb elsewhere".

i just talked to someone and he said the plum is in. easy walking to the base, last pitch was in and minimal snow between pitches. white blotter needs extra few days.
