mtn_mouse
I am stuck in Ellensburg, I-90 is closed, and for a few days? With all the diverted traffic going over Stevens Pass or White Pass, are there any intrepid travelers out there who have been over those passes today, and can tell me which has the best conditions, ie less traffic. Oh well at least I can explorre Ellensburg

Dru
The department has hired a construction firm to do emergency repairs and chip away loose rocks that threaten to fall down the slope. It's not clear yet when that work will be completed. did they hire sport climbers?

mtn_mouse
Well I heard Stevens Pass is a 50 mile traffic jam happening. The department has hired a construction firm to do emergency repairs and chip away loose rocks that threaten to fall down the slope. It's not clear yet when that work will be completed. did they hire sport climbers? Silly Canadian alpenslogger...Sports climbers only chip good, solid rock; Choss, we glue back together. Big choss, now there are some good new bouldering problems to attempt for the next week.
EWolfe
Bring your own chisel and glue. You can be just like a Smith Rock Routesetter!
