pup_on_the_mountain Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Where can one get the "parking" permit (hunting license without the license to hunt) for Vantage (Frenchman Coulee) in and around Seattle? In fact, its for my friend who lives in Everett (Mukilteo to be exact). If any one could point out a place in/around Everett, that'll be even better . Thanks! Quote
knotzen Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Fred Meyer sells them, at the customer service desk, as do most sporting goods stores. You can search for other places here. Quote
EWolfe Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 If you forget, you can always get one at the hardware store in George. Quote
catbirdseat Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 If you buy east of the mountains your dollars will go to help support local wildlife areas. That's good. Quote
hodoo Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 don't buy it. you paid your taxes, didnt you? why now user fees are a justifiable form of double taxation is beyond me. I'd note you are also representationless with this extra tax. this is why we have a general tax system instead of a pay per use, so you can voice dissent. I got a ticket in violation a few years ago. I wrote the judge a letter, and he agreed with me. no fine, no double taxation. Tom Quote
catbirdseat Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 I call bullshit. It's not double taxation. Double taxation is something altogether different. Quote
colt45 Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 by the way, you can now purchase the parking pass online: they mail it to you within a few days, and I think that printing out the receipt from the website and putting it on your dashboard suffices until then. https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/wa/license/select on the above website, go to "other" and select "vehicle use permit" Quote
goatboy Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 You can also park there, just down the road outside of the "fee area" without getting ticketed. The place in George is a good suggestion EXCEPT for the fact that their machine is broken currently, so you can't buy them there....as of 4/15/2006. Quote
Paul_detrick Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Parking down the road will not help if you are on WDW land, I would just get the permit. But than I buy a Hunting and Fishing license every year. Got a ticket there once and got out of it, but don't want to go thru the hassel. Quote
