As I was headed over to Southworth yesterday on the ferry one of the boats "protecting" the ferry was doing some hot dogin". He was Jumping wakes, doing donuts and passing real close to the ferry at high speed. Those escorts are a total waste anyway, this just makes it worse. I would rather see that $ money spent on drunk drivers and raod rage. Those 2 things are way more likely to kill us than a terrorist. Your tax $ at work, morons.

wasn't there some Edward Abbey book where he was talking how he'd measure the distance to some place by the number of beers it took to get there?

 

sayin how (for instance) it was like "yep, it's five beers to Durango" .... "might be seven beers to Flagstaff"... etc etc
