DanielHarro Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 The ice is FAT!! I climbed G1 and G2 this past week, 3/22-25. There is still 3 feet of snow and cold weather at night. The is going to be around for awile. I also talked to some guys who climbed in the Twin Fall area and it fantastic!! I hope your trip goes well!! Oh and the road conditions are fine, I did get stuck in my 4-runner, but it is because I went off the road...opps....you will be fine. Have fun!! Quote
Steddy Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 you can get in without putting it into 4 just fine. there is plenty of ice, but conditions are different on every climb, every aspect - horrible to great, solid to shedding bombs. still worth the trip! Quote
Extrablue Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 Get up there early, the recent warm spell has made some stuff on the left (north??) side of the canyon get pretty soft by 2:00pm. Otherwise its still good. Quote
