chirp Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Thought a few of you might remember James. Thats boy was born to crank no matter what endeavor! I found this while googling and it made me smile! He was active in the mid 80's and I remember him and Greg Barber coming to visit me when I worked in Zion in 1988. They had just come from the first Snowbird and were stoked. (On that visit, Greg Barber and I made the FFA of Last Rites up the South Fork in Kolob.) Its nice to catch up and relive some of lifes finer moments. "The National Veterans Wheelchair Games provide a great way to interact socially and competitively with other disabled veterans," said Fredericks, who is competing in the Games for the third time. "My whole life has revolved around sports. I have been looking forward to the new challenges and I expect to go home 100 percent satisfied with my efforts." Link Quote
pope Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 That is completely awesome! It's been at least 15 years since I talked to him. Great to see that he is still the same guy I remember, always expecting excellence. Thanks for the link. Quote
