layton Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 It's gonna be 70 degrees today! Screw the ice, it almost gave me an ulcer this year! So when do you folks think we can start in on the alpine rock season? More specifically, what routes do you think will be coming into shape soon...or are in now. I may not go to J-Tree for spring break if the weather keeps up like this! Golly, infinate bliss was just climbed! You would expect that route to be a snot-mare right now! And WA pass will be accessible soon! Please report conditions if you're going out, or live near an area! Is snowcreek wall ready yet? What faces don't have snow on them at the WA Pass? Quote
Couloir Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Stuart sounds tasty. But it too may be a bit soon. Quote
Winter Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 SCW? Were you up there recently? There were reports it was still sloppy from pretty recently. Quote
RideT61 Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 A couple friends climbed Outer Space over the weekend. They said there was soome snow on the approach and Two Tree ledge but that the decent was free of snow. Apparently they did the first couple pitches in approach shoes to keep their rock shoes dry. All in all, it souded pretty nice. Quote
