montanapup Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 that should get you an extra 10 bucks! maybe you could step in for Dick! Quote
Blake Posted March 3, 2005 Author Posted March 3, 2005 How much do you think I should ask for it Dru? Quote
Dru Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Maybe you can sell it to some young hottie and then collect a bonus from Cheney. Quote
Steddy Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 that is just all too oxymoronic unless they're sicko. and what do you like better than the myo 5? Quote
Blake Posted March 7, 2005 Author Posted March 7, 2005 and what do you like better than the myo 5? Tikka Quote
Ade Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Careful there. I have a Tikka Plus and a Myo5. I take the Tikka on "if everything goes well there's going to be no screwing around in the dark" trips and the Myo if I know I'm going to be trying to climb or descend in darkness. It throws light a lot further. If your stuck in the middle of some messed up glacier or crossing difficult terrain in the dark the Myo5 rocks! Quote
Blake Posted March 15, 2005 Author Posted March 15, 2005 Yeah, I agree that the Myo5 is the light have for when you will be navigating in the dark, but up to now I try and get my navigating done by daylight, so I need a headlamp for around camp, and just-in-case situations. Quote
Dr_Crash Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 I was a rope leader on Rainier with a BD Moonlight and I sure wished I had something that'd throw light farther away (especialy after we wandered off to the wrong side of the cleaver). That's when I got a Myo 5 It rocks, and is well worth the extra weight for navigating IMO. drC Quote
