I am new to OR and am doing a nordic race in that area this weekend. Thought I could hit up some ice while there......if any exists.... icezazz Posted February 16, 2005 Share Posted February 16, 2005 NP = with the volcanc soil out there, you would expect any groundwater to get instantly sucked up. Dont really know of any small waterfalls out there, so id say - NO. Can you elaborate on the nordic race you are involved in? I am unoffical caretaker of a back- country hut in that area, and im just wondering if they are using that hut as a waypoint.
