TheOldHouseMan Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 Has anyone skied these with AT bindings on them? I've heard they are a little softer for you free-heel guys. The Mt Shop has a couple pairs for demo but wont let them go out because of the low coverage. Hopefully after this weekend we'll have enough snow so I can try them. Quote
retired Posted January 16, 2005 Posted January 16, 2005 I have a pair mounted for tele with hammerhead bindings. Great stable platform and don't feel soft to my 150 lbs, a powerfull ski. already sctatched up due to the poor coverage and my quest for new snow. I know you were talking AT but with the hammerhead in position 4, it's pretty close. Quote
swaterfall Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 I've got a pair fitted with Dynafit TLT comforts. They pretty much rule in the powder. I haven't tried them out at a resort yet so I don't know what they would be like on, ugh, groomed runs. As for performance they are snappy and quick to turn and stuff enough to bust through crusty snow. They are based on the sugar daddy but have a little more flex right at the tips and tails for quicker turning. send me a pm if you want to know more. Quote
Harkin_Banks Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 unfortunately the teledaddy does not have the AFT APPROVED logo on it like the sugardaddy., and is thus not approved. Quote
swaterfall Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 AFT = Association of Faceplanting Telemarkers? Quote
Cletus Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 I ride these with alpine binders on em, and I absolutely love them. They're so light, I am thinking of throwing some Freerides on em and making em my next AT setup when I slay the current rig. Do it, you won;t be sorry. FYI: 5'10" 175-180lbs -> 183cm Quote
