charlesclaassen Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Somebody chopped my lock and stole my bike from in front of my apartment near downtown. It probably won't do any good to mention it here, but if anybody sees a black Caloi frame with green graphics with skinny hybrid 26" tires around town, drop me a line. It was fixed with shimano spd pedals and a "Lemond" saddle with the hole in the middle. It's probably been stripped and thrown in the bay, but who knows. Quote
layton Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 where? I had my bike stolen in front of my apt above Stuarts-it was my only mode of transportation and pleasure cuz I was in two walking casts at the time. real sorry to hear that. Quote
charlesclaassen Posted January 9, 2005 Author Posted January 9, 2005 I'm actually over by Toad Mountain, and it was my primary means of transportation too. Oh well, I'm daydreaming of building my dream bike now anyway. Time to start saving... Quote
chris Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Make sure to give Second Ascent and Recycled Cycles immediately. Both are in Seattle, and deal with high-end used bikes. Andrew at Second Ascent keeps a notebook of reported thefts to keep an eye out for. Quote
pfleeger Posted March 1, 2005 Posted March 1, 2005 Got mine stolen too, from outside fairhaven dorms. They cut the lock. yellow GT frame, stiff black front fork. Pretty old crappy bike but my only means of transportation. I feel your pain. Isn't much you can do about it...besides get a real beater to ride around and hide the mountain bike in the closet. Quote
