Blake Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Where in Portland (north end if possible) should i go to pick up some randonee odds and ends such as ski leashes and Cheat Sheets? Also, any reviews or advice for storing skins and using cheat sheets to keep everything running smoothly? -Blake Quote
Gaper_Jeffy Posted November 26, 2004 Posted November 26, 2004 Be warned that if you use "Cheat Sheets" your partners will likely endlessly mock you. Quote

floodster Posted December 6, 2004 Posted December 6, 2004 blake, i'm here at omc (oregon mt. community), and we have lots of cheat-sheets, if the rest of these posters haven't already talked you out of them. Quote
Blake Posted December 6, 2004 Author Posted December 6, 2004 yeah, thanks. After a day of shopping in PDX I learned a few things. A.when the chubby red-haired REI "ski expert" tells you that the waxpaper glue-renews are "cheat sheets" she is full of shit, but trying to correct her is pointless. B. The Mountain Shop employees seem like good guys, and even called OMC to ask if OMC had cheat sheets in stock. C. OMC had them in stock. Mountain Shop OMC REI Quote
