I've had them on one of my cars for a few years now...never had an issue with the plates. No emissions tests after 30 years. Speeding? Different story.

:shock: seems like a good price given a new engine. I love my 85 weekender, but paid almost double that. These are great rigs for climbers, aside from being constantly worried the man may pull you over at any moment.

Could this be the same 74 VW camper that has been on craigslist for awhile, with some potential buyer posting that the seller of the 74 VW camper is full of shit? All of which are no longer present on Seattle Craigslist?

Interesting, no response from the OP. As someone who had a 1974 VW Poptop and did a fair amount of restration on it, a rebuilt engine with installation and new canvas is more than the purchase price. Plus its way below the fair market value unless the body is totally rusted out. Something does't pass the smell test.
