The words Leavenworth beta are unnecessary. Regardless of whether the area is covered in the Smoot guides, the quality of information is identical. Do we really need to invent YARS (yet another rating system) for Cascade volcanoes?

No, I haven't yet (life is long, who knows?) but I've been told the slime acts as an anaesthetic, did it make your tongue numb? I imaging cooking would change that, and the little ones you find in salad are probably too small to have a noticeable effect.
