catbirdseat Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Officials in the Dept. of Interior have decided to overrule the scientists in the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife to declare our Washington and Oregon population of Murrelets are not a distinct population and are therefore expendable. So I want to ask all you Canadians to take real good care of our Marbled Murrelets after we exterpate our local population. We know we can count on you to preserve this endangered species. Quote
