I was thinking about checking this place out. I'm looking for some moderate sport climbing and some bouldering. is this place any good? I checked out the "rock climbing washington" guide, but considering it only includes the hardest, and what the author considers the best routes (rendering it a piece of crap) I don't know if anything ther is what I'm looking for. Also...any good tips on where to camp?

I think the Travelers Guide has info. There is a county campground near the San Jaun ferry termanal. More camping at Deception Pass State Park and Bayview State Park. Deception Pass is full on summer weekends.

Mount Eerie is very beautiful, and there are top-roped and bolted climbs from 5.0 to 5.11 or something like that. There is a local Mt Eerie guidebook that has in the past been available at a grocery/mini mart on the corner just below the south side of Mount Eerie.
