DirtyHarry Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Went to this place for the first time Saturday. Have to admit, some fun routes on really good rock, however overbolted and overrated they are. Clearly, lots and lots of real good sport climbing potential up there if Park allows further fixed anchors. The little craglet that is developed is worthy of a visit though. Quote
goatboy Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Where exactly is it located in NH? I drive by there all the time and crane my neck out the window as I pass -- I assume it's on the steep mossy walls on the North Side of hwy 20, visible from "downtown" Newhalem? Quote
Bill_Simpkins Posted August 10, 2004 Posted August 10, 2004 It's actually up the canyon a couple hundred yards on the left. Park by the grave/mine entrance by the picknic tables, then walk east on the highway a short bit and cut up a little path to the crag. Quote
