dukiebird Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 Long live PBR!! May it's cheap prices and coma-inducing contents serve as a bright, amber-colored, ambrosia-flavored beacon for broke college kids and white trash alike for years to come. http://www.nytimes.com/2003/06/22/magazine/22PABST.html?ex=1091764800&en=5694bdab912c2b4e&ei=5070 Quote
ashw_justin Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 Yeeeeeyaaaah boyeeee!! Let's here it for the Lutz. Represent! $60 kegs o' PBR biatch! And let's not forget that neighboring The Delta Cafe has PBR 40oz on the menu. Oh yeah, and of course it's number one. It's got a frickin blue ribbon on it dumbfucks. Quote
Alpinfox Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 I concur. Hail PRB and Hail da lutz. Though my "Happy Birthday from the Lutz" pint glass has gone the way of the dodo. lutz tavern Hormonal high energy of the Reed College variety keeps the Lutz humming. Gals with bobs, clogs and tattoos dance around, while scruffy boys in hip-hugging cords look on approvingly. Floating booths, instead of the usual kind pressed up against a wall, deliver a sense of community, while semicircular corner tables provide makeshift study areas. Nobody really cares what they're drinking, but if you're not in the mood for a $1.35 Blitz or Pabst, there are also Widmer Hop Jack, Mirror Pond, Anchor Steam, Full Sail Nut Brown and MacTarnahan's on draft. Alaskan Pale Ale and Sierra Nevada, perfect starter beers, cost $2.50 a bottle, and several hard ciders provide a sweeter alternative. (BD) 4639 SE Woodstock Blvd., 774-0353. Open daily. 8 taps.
