chirp Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Howdy, I am looking to get the zipper on my wifes sleeping bag replaced, the dog went on a zipper chewing frenzy awhile back and were just getting around to fixing things up so we can use em. Can anyone recommend a local (greater Puget Sound) shop that does softwear repair? The whole zippers gonna need to come out and on a mummy bag that looks like a brutal task. Any input would be cool! Thanks! Quote
Rodchester Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 I've actually had good luck with REI repair for many things, a zipper included. Quote
chirp Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 Cool tip, I had no clue they did work like that! Thanks VERY much! Quote
chris Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Rainy Pass Repair on Roosevelt in the U-District. They do all of Dana's pack warranty repairs. The downtown Patagonia retail store send their warranty repair work there too. I've had two packs, two jackets, one pair of gaiters, and numerous zippers repaired by them. Rainy Pass and gets !! Gary_Yngve Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 Rainy Pass has done a good job on repairing the climbing club's oft-abused zippers on the Bibler I-tents. It ain't cheap though to replace on of those long zippers -- probably around $50. Quote
