Trip Report:

Any body been up to the N/M Sister from Pole Creek in the last few days? Wondering about the need for snowshoes.

See the recent post concerning the S sister. Memorial day we could start skiing above the trail but below tree line. My guess would be you can walk under the trees most parts of the day, but will be in soft snow after the sun hits it.

leave the snow shoes at home, and bring the sunscreen. snow is steady from 6400' and above, travel early and you shouldn't be post holing too much at all.
