Peter_Puget Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 Hall of Mirrors starts out with a two pitch climb Misty Beethoven that I think was put up by Mark Rolofson. Anyway I did it back in the days of EBs and the EB rubber would literally squeak on the polished granite. Modern rubber seems to have lost the “squeak”. If I remember correctly TP has some small edges and is not a pure friction route. Quote
willstrickland Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 Mark Wilford put it up (Misty Beethoven)in '75. Quote
matt_m Posted April 8, 2004 Posted April 8, 2004 Negative, matt_m. Check your facts, most of them are askew. stand corrected - misty beethoven is the opening to Hall Of Mirrors - that pitch called the unfinished 9th combined with the musical ref messed with my memory. so what ARE the correct facts if mine are askew? assmonkey Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 There's video around of Kauk styling it too. Makes it look casual. Out of curiousity, where? Would like to check it out.... -assmnky Quote
willstrickland Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Don't remember honestly. Maybe on "Ascending Rhythm"? Seems like I saw it on a rainy day in the Mt Shop in Curry. Quote
